There’s something so special about a couples session in the Texas Hill Country. The wide-open fields, warm evening light, old barns, and little pieces of Texas personality make it one of my favorite places for couples photography in Austin, TX!
As an Austin couples photographer, I love sessions like this because they don’t have to feel overly posed, stiff, or formal. Instead, we can take advantage of the beautiful Texas landscape while giving you space to simply have fun and enjoy being together!
We started the session in a field surrounded by sunflowers, and these two made my job WAY too easy. They were so fun and giggly together that I barely had to prompt them at all. They naturally fell into laughing, joking around, and loving on each other, which made it so easy to capture the little in-between moments that I adore most.
Of course, their dogs had to be part of the session! They added so much personality and made the photos feel even more personal to them. We also spent some time around the vintage barn as the sun was setting, which fit the whole feel of their session perfectly. Their cowboy hats and boots, the weathered wood, and the soft sunset light all came together to give the photos that rustic, laid-back Texas feel. It felt like such a natural reflection of them and made for the perfect way to wrap up their session.
