Get to know your photographer

What I once saw as a weakness has become my superpower.

My sensitivity and ability to feel very deeply allow me to observe every detail and tune into the little, beautiful moments that others might miss. Whether it’s the subtle way someone lights up when they laugh, the joyful energy of a senior stepping into their next chapter, or the way a couple naturally leans into each other between poses, I’m always chasing the feeling behind the photo. Let’s be real, I’m usually smiling just as big as you are, both behind the camera and again when I’m editing your photos!

My faith in Jesus is the heart of everything I do. it grounds me, guides me, and inspires me to see beauty in every season.

I've always considered myself an artist, but I truly fell in love with photography in early high school after borrowing a Canon camera from my yearbook class, just before the world shut down for COVID. Little did I know that camera would end up staying with me through lockdown for the next two years (don't worry, I eventually returned it!).

With plenty of time to practice, I started photographing friends, never imagining those fun little photo shoots would one day grow into my business. By my senior year, I was photographing classmates' senior sessions, and Natkphotography was born.

It's incredible to look back and see how God used one borrowed camera to lead me here. What began as a creative outlet has become one of the greatest joys of my life, and I'm so grateful to call this my job!

I graduated in the spring of 2025 from Texas State University with a B.S. in Digital Media Innovation (go Bobcats!). During my time there, I served as a YoungLife leader at Wimberley High School, where I got to walk alongside high schoolers, build real relationships, and share the love of Jesus in everyday life. That season grew my love for storytelling, meaningful connection, and reminding people that they’re seen and known - values that now shape how I photograph and create!

After graduating, I continued - and still currently lead - at Cedar Park High School (where I went to high school), which has been such a full-circle and meaningful experience!

When I'm not behind the camera...

You can usually find me with an iced coffee in one hand and a fantasy book in the other, or romanticizing the little moments and sharing them on social media. I’m a big believer in finding beauty in everyday life, like sunset drives with the windows down, spontaneous Target runs with friends, and slow mornings that begin with scripture and silence.

Community is one of the most important aspects in my life. I treasure my people! Whether we’re sitting around a kitchen table talking for hours, playing Codenames (best board game ever), suntanning on a lakeside dock, or dancing barefoot in the living room, I’m always down for quality time and real connection.

At the core of everything I do is my faith. It’s the foundation of how I see the world and love the people in it. I believe God has a purpose for every person and every season, and I hope my work reflects that - capturing the goodness, the growth, and the glory in all of it.
