Rehearsal dinners always feel like such a meaningful way to begin a wedding weekend. Everything slows down a bit, and there’s this calm, happy anticipation in the air as everyone gathers together before the big day.


Colt + Elana's rehearsal dinner was filled with laughter, easy conversation, and so much joy. It was such a gift to step back and document the in-between moments -- family catching up, friends reconnecting, hugs that last a little longer than usual, all of the intentional details that made the evening feel so personal and thoughtfully put together, and the quiet excitement that builds as a wedding day arrives.


I always love photographing evenings like this because there’s much less rush or pressure - just everyone being fully present together. It was such an honor to document this evening in Austin and preserve these memories as this couple steps into such a meaningful weekend.
